Financial Support for School Field Trips

A Minnesota Legacy grant administered by the Minnesota Humanities Center enables us to offer FREE admission for students, teachers and para's as part of a field trip. Chaperones and any additional siblings are charged a reduced price of $8.00 per person.  The grant also allows us to offer you a stipend for bus transportation if you have 20 or more students in attendance and come on a bus.  Depending on mileage it ranges from $100 - $300 per bus.

• $100 Itasca County schools and Hill City
• $200 Cities: Floodwood, Hibbing, Chisholm, Virginia, Remer.  Counties: Aitkin, Beltrami, Cass, Hubbard
• $300 Counties: Carlton, Clearwater, Crow Wing, Koochiching, St. Louis - excluding Floodwood, Hibbing, Chilsholm, & Virginia who receive $200.

 

 

 Funding has all been allocated for this year. You may still attend the museum for $5 each. Please Call Debbie at 218-248-2329 to schedule your group.
